I have a Windows 10 PC with an Intel i5 10400 cpu with integrated gpu. It has no issues playing Mario Kart Wii at native resolution and although I can bump up Donkey Kong Returns to 3x native to get 1080, the FPS drops to around 40 if I try this for Mario Kart. I’m wondering if adding a GTX 1030 with 2 GB of DDR5 RAM would be enough to play Mario Kart Wii at 3 x native resolution. Thanks

It should but I rather get a used GTX 750ti or 1050 instead of 1030 , these cards have much higher memory bandwidth -> higher resolution . A GTX 750ti can easily play game at 4x IR

Thanks. I should have mentioned that it needs to be a low profile GPU but I did find a 1050 that could work.
