Sad
Hi, all. I've been wanting to play SSBB on my laptop, and it runs just fine but the speed is always between 60-70%... I really dont think this should be happening for my laptop. here are my specs and my settings:

Core i7 2630QM (2.0GHz)
Nvidia GeForce GTX560m
8GB ram

I even tried raising the AA and such to see if my GPU was bottlenecking it, and it was still the same... Sad

try "lock threads to cores"
and be sure that your cpu is going in 2core turbo mode
(try realtemp to check clockspeed)

(Dolphin only uses 2 cpu cores... nothing to change about this)
most games need more than 3ghz sandybridge cpu's to work flawlessly...
but SSBB should work with 2.6ghz 2core turbo (i hope the 2.6ghz are correct... i havent looked)
EDIT by neobrain: that pic was kinda annoying..
EDIT by dannzen: don't fuck with my sig Dodgy
EDIT by neobrain: yet, I will keep doing it Tongue

Uncheck "Disable Fog" - This option can cause graphical glitches Wink

Some general tips i can give you is to make sure that when you're gaming, your laptop sits on a flat surface that is either a table/desk/x and not a bed/pillow or whatever. This helps improve the airflow significantly.
Also if your CPU runs hot because of whatever reason it will NOT turbo boost so you're losing a lot of fps here.
As for your specs I'm not that big of a laptop-hardware fan myself but your specs seem pretty high-end and considering the game you're running I believe you could get full speed out of this, based on your specs ofcourse.
Another general point is to look at what type of game it is (NTSC/PAL) and how you got the specific ISO. It could be that the ripping process wasn't that much of a high quality rip and so on.

Good luck.
