So the only way I'm able to prefetch certain textures in Ishiiruka is by converting them to DDS, something with a strange PNG library that it uses or something?
Anyway, I converted Insane Slug's textures to DDS, and the game doesn't crash now like it did before, but the converter that I used didn't carry over transparency, it seems, because there's all these blocky white bits everywhere now xD
So does anyone know of a good DDS converter that preserves all of these things? If you do, please let me know

I had it on DXT1, Clamp, Mipmaps, and Alpha. Not sure if any of that is right or not, but, yeah! Let me know
EDIT: It worked much, much better in DXT5. Everything transferred over beautifully. Although some textures shouldn't have mip maps actually, so I'm trying it again while taking that setting off.
EDIT EDIT: That seemed to fix it. All is well! I'll probably be using DDS from now on TBH, seems to be a lot less of a strain on the PC.
