Hi there im new here,i've been testing out the emulator hoping to get goldeneye running on my machine(core 2 duo @ 3.33Ghz,4GB RAM,ATI 4870 1GB) and it running almost perfectly apart from the slowness.....anyways,i've noticed if i try to play with any revision above x64-r6810 that the screen just stays frozen black/grey then crashes(im using the dx11 plugin)....So theres my 2 cents lol.

On a side-note,i was wondering if theres any specific dolphin build thats better for running goldeneye?As u can see i dont have a fast machine by todays standards,i was thinking of getting a pre-overclocked 4.6ghz i7 and new graphics card.Would this be able to run goldeneye and other games at full speed?Is it possable to get it full speed or close on my current hardware?Im lagging down to about 15fps and less sometimes as it is,but i still love the fact i can play it lol,thanks!

im almost positive the hd 4870 does not support dx11. only up to dx10.1. so try dx9 plugin instead...

The d3d11 plugin can be used with d3d10 hardware. It really should be called the d3d10/10.1/11 plugin since it contains three different api paths.

@BarBrawllin
Have you tried using the d3d9 or opengl plugins?

Hi there,i just tried revision r6818 and it works now but its still "slow"/choppy(between 15-30fps,maybe even less sometimes)I've tried all the plugins and the dx11 one seems to be fastest or = to dx9.

It's really tempting me to get an i7 @ 4.6Ghz or faster + an ATI 6870.......wonder how much i could get on ebay for an overclocked E6600 @ 3.33ghz with 4gb of RAM @ 1105mhz?Idea

Try turning off audio throttle and accurate texture cache if you haven't already. Also try an older revision like 6505.
