I recently just started using dolphin 4.0.1 and I'm playing animal crossing : city folk. I want to use the online portion but when I tried it didn't work. I did a search for this before and I think I found the solution but now I am unable to find this page again. The games gives me the error <20100> I'm not sure what I should do for dolphin to fix this problem and I'm really hoping that there is a way to fix this!

Be sure to follow this guide first, then tell us if you still encounter any issues playing this game online.

Well, this is what Nintendo says about the error code:

Quote:There could be a temporary issue with the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection servers. Please wait a few hours and try again.

Well hopefully that's really all that it is, I really appreciate the help.

Easy way to find out is to try on a Real Wii and see if you can connect there. If you can connect from a console, then it's an issue on your end in Dolphin (or Dolphin and that game)

Hi, I'm experiencing the same error (20115) on Animal Crossing: City Folk as well as Wiiware Uno. Does anyone know if the Nintendo WiFi servers are actually down?

Like JMC47 said, the best way is to fire up a real Wii and find out.

Any news on this problem? I too am having the same error code, and I don't have a Wii to test it out

Technically you don't need a Wii, just see what other people are saying for a game's respective online community (or ask them yourself). If a game no longer has servers, a quick googling should tell you what's up. If people aren't having issues with real Wiis (or Dolphin for that matter), you can be sure the problem is on your end.
