GitHub Been Acting Up - Slow Speeds?

GitHub speeds lately have really slowed down.

I remember earlier in the year speeds were really nice.

Cloning off of Dolphin use to take me just a few minutes.

Now I'm lucky if I clone it in like 20 minutes.

This isn't about being able to 'git pull' off of a clone that has completed.

I'm simply talking about GitHub speeds have been really bad lately.

Anyhow else seeing the speed drops around GitHub lately?

I just tried it and it took me about ~5 minutes.

ye same. did a clone and it happened rather ok speeds. ( 5ish minutes)

how is your internet speed? what ping are you getting from github?

I have a fast connection, and the thing is, I see the speeds jumping all over the place, sometimes it does kick up fast, then it drops. Not sure what's going on, I just assumed a lot of traffic on github and it was just going slow...
