Error also mentions that the "Emulated GPU got desynced, disabling dual core could help." Among a few other things. Anyone run into this?

What game?

Anyways, disable dual core. It's buggy and a bit of a hack anyways.

Click on Config. The dual core setting is at the top of the first tab in the window that shows up.

Oh yeah of course. Thank you very much. I just came here tonight for the first time getting things set-up and I really appreciate all the help I've been given. Awesome community here.

Do note though that turning off dual core is a significant performance hit. If you only want to turn it off in games that are crashing with it on for you, follow this guide

https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-unofficial-howto-using-gameini-settings-per-game

You'll want the following setting to turn off dual core

[Core]
CPUThread = False
