Getting Started With Dolphin [OUT OF DATE]

hmm, my system is high and above what it asks, yet the highest i can get it to run is about 30FPS when i'm actually doing something thats not a menu of some kind. i've messed with settings to see what i can do to make it run faster, but i can make everything minimal or maximize it and it doesn't seem to matter, maybe about .1 frames per second really.

I have buy Super Smash Bros. Melee (GCN) from doojoo for nearly 29€
My PC is...

Win Vista Ultimate 64bit
AMD Phenom8400 Triple Core (1 core got 2.1 Ghertz)
4GB Ram
Nvidea 9500 GT 256MB

But it dont run with fullspeed - on some maps and forget it with 4 Players (me cpu cpu cpu)
Also i can´t play with another one o.o like my best friend =D

Someone can help me please and tell me how i can make it full speed please o.o?
I use the Dolphin-x64-3012-release!

your cpu is too slow.

with phenom i'd say you need at least 2.5, better 3ghz.

but with 4 players it will still have slowdowns.

o.o well - maybe someone can make a plug in to make the a better to handle grafik? i dont think that my pc is to slow, i handle cryses on Max with 1028 ressulution and without slowdowns... maybe we need an other/ faster grafik plug in - I got 3 Cores... did the program still use just 2? ... can i do something to activate the last one in one way...

i dont wanna upgrade my pc - he is fine o.o but i wanna help scripting or help on other ways to make a faster dolphin with thes others guys =)

you cant compare dolphin with crysis.

crysis just runs on your system, dolphin needs to emulate the gamecube/wii and THEN run the game.

2 completly different processor systems.

its like you playing tennis but you are only allowed to do use a tabletennis racquet.

and then people come and complain that you play worse. doesn't sound fair.

Y he handle smash brohers brawl with same FPS like Melee.... no probs with 2 player but everything higher it go down... with the new emulator i handle it with 45FPS both games....

wii is higher hardward like cube.... dont understand o.o ist great but i dont understand it...

keep in mind that brawl has some kind of build in frameskip, so it runs full speed no matter how high fps count you got.

also the console alone does not matter. some games on wii will run faster then high require games on gamecube.

example : zelda TP for GC vs SSBB on Wii

Overclocking even a little sure can increase the fps. i got 20 extra fps on SSBB by adding around 190mhz ish

it isnt that much the speed of cores its better how many cores u have. till now the better working CPUs were Core 2 Duos and the pricy one especially (e8500)!

dolphin can only use 2 cores.

so if cores is >1, then clock>cores
