...I did. I installed that, and the DirctX Updater. Yet, Dolphin still can't find the WiiMote plugin.

I'm a girl so I have no clue with this, but I have a question, will this emulator work with my graphic card mobile intel 965 Express Chipset family? I have a 3.0 Ghz CPU, 4Gb of ram.
Thank you guys Smile

Hello guys,

I'm pretty new in Dolphin, only know that it runs both GC and Wii Games.

I'm currently upgrading my PC to the follwing:
Windows XP
Phenom 940 3.0Ghz (Quad Core)
6GB RAM
GeForce GTX 280

Does anybody know if it will be able to run Dolphin at 720p with at least 4xAA?

Could anyone mention the most demanding games so I can test then out?

Last but not least, is Quad Core support in development?

Thank you in advance.

Great computer here ^^

You'll be able to run most of the games supported by Dolphin with this definition

Test "your" games

I dont think Quad support is a priority^^
Pentium G2120 Ivy Bridge 3.1Ghz
8GB 1333 DDR3
ASUS 560 TI CU2 TOP
Crucial M4 64Gb

After reading a bit, I haver learned that Quad Core Support isn't a priority in Dolphin development since it could impact compatibility.

Said this, does anybody know if there's a way to force the processor to use its four cores to perform any process? In this case, a Phenom AMD.

No, stop speculating. The reason is that it's impossible to split serial processes like processor emulation into multiple threads. Dolphin cannot be split further than into two threads, one for CPU and one for graphics. We also have an audio thread but it consumes about 1% of a core. If we get LLE to work fully, it will eat about another core, so having 3 cores will be good, but what should the fourth core do?
