Well, because not all games ask for the same spec.
Some need higher, and for that, you will need about dual core 3.2GHz to run at great speed (not full too)

Just wait until Dolphin progressed a lot and we will see if the requirement become higher or lower. (well, usually lower)

I don't know that. Why don't try it yourself?
As I know, the games you listed except the last one require normal spec (dual core 2.6GHz would be good). For MP1&2, you need higher.

Hey, I'm wondering if it is possible to switch to an ATI or NVIDIA graphics card that would work on these specs while being able to run Dolphin, as I have the Intel graphics accelerator card and that doesn't work for $@&%. I'm not wanting all of the bells and whistles, all I want to do is run a few Gamecube games at playable speed. I can already play SSBM at a somewhat playable speed, but the graphics card I have is inferior.

Intel Pentium 4 3.0 Ghz processor (would buying a dual core processor make much of a difference?)

1 GB DDR2 RAM (allocated to 2.5 GB automatically)

Windows XP Professional

And I can't remember what my motherboard is, but just in general do you think it is possible for me to upgrade my graphics card?
