Thanks everyone for the helpful responses. I have ordered the computer and am hopeful that it'll meet my needs if properly overclocked. Is my graphics card going to effect performance that much? I plan on upgrading it eventually but a gtx 650 seems at least capable of handling my needs for now. Anyone have a similar processor and tried xenogear chronicles yet? I wanna play this game as badly as last story. Lol. Is Pcsx2 going to run well? I had an amd laptop before this so I know it'll at least be a bit better. Thanks again.

I don't have a lot of experience with PCSX2, but I have played number of games on it. It should do fine on your new computer. If you encounter a demanding game, just overclock and you're done worrying about performance for the most part, as far as the CPU is concerned.

The GTX 650 will do fine in Dolphin and in PCSX2. Your GPU will be responsible for letting you raise the Internal Resolution and the amount of AA while gaming in both emulators. Xenoblade Chronicles should easily run at 3x IR plus some AA, or just 4x IR with minimal to no AA. I find Auto Window size (1080p monitor) + 4xSSAA to be the sweet spot. Your GTX 650 should be able to handle that.

Yay. I just can't wait to start playing these games in full hd. Even though most games were slow on my old pc, it was a whole different experience soaking in all the detail you miss with 480p.
