The game runs pretty slowely for me but i've seen people with lesser pc's getting full speed, is there a setting I need to disable/enable thats really messing RER's speed up or something? I'm using SVN 3661, most of the settings are at default except Dual Core is enabled and Safe texture cache is on, Optimise Quantisizers is off to stop the messed up characters.

Specs: Q9550 @ 3.4Ghz, 4GB 800Mhz RAM, Radeon HD4890 1GB.

I'm using the 64 Bit version so there's no DolphinIL that i'm aware of, I tried a 32 Bit version of it once but it couldn't read the 64 Bit compiled files so it just exited on startup.

Would using the 32 Bit version of Dolphin on a 64 Bit OS degrade the performance by much?

probably only a few frames now adays. It used to be a huge performance hit but now you won't lose more than 10fps max

Well this is strange, I decided to try out the 32 Bit version, same thing was happening however I changed the "Audio Backend" to "OpenAL" and now the game is running extremely fast, there's no frame limit, so it seems it is not frame limiting correctly with DSound, guessing setting the audio to OpenAL on the 64 Bit version will also cause it to go super fast.

Is there any way to fix the frame limiting with OpenAL?

EDIT: Yeah setting it to OpenAL makes the 64 Bit version go very fast aswell, nowhere near as fast as the 32 Bit one though. O_o

I found a link to 3664 that does have that in, thanks.

The only problem left now is the frame limiting. Undecided

Thanks, how do you enable that hack?

Also, I only just noticed the experimental frame limit option in the options, I set it to 60 but the game is still a bit choppy so i'll try the hack when I find out how to enable it.
