Hey guys. I have an old Wii remote lying around with my original system. I don't know exactly what the model numbers are, but this is the one that came with the console back in 2006 if that means anything to you. Looking to get one of those fancy Mayflash bars to use. I thought that Skyward Sword might be worth experimenting with, so I'm looking to throw a Wii Motion Plus in the order.
The Recommended Accessories page recommends a third party GatorCrunch model, which is around $15. It also appears to be out of date, however, as a listing for a standard Wii Remote is a dead link.

I found this alternative, some generic no-name Motion Plus. Anybody here ever use it? I can't seem to find any reference to it elsewhere on the forums, including the stickied thread. I don't think Skyward Sword on PC is worth $15, but for $5 I'd give it a go.
