Hmm, didn't libogc use to have a bug related to wiimotes? If i remember correctly the wiimote disconnect stuff didn't release some ressource. This would crash any homebrew on a real wii by going through parts of the code that connect and disconnect wiimotes often enough.
The official Gecko OS release might be compiled with that old libogc version. And it should run at least once through connecting, disconnecting and connecting wiimotes again, if i remember correctly.
Well, on the other hand, NeoGamma, which is a Gecko OS clone, should be compiled with the fixed libgc version and i think that's broken too.
