Gecko Codes not working for Animal crossing CF and other wii games

I have enabled cheats on, checked the author's note, restarted the game to take effect, and yields no change! Does anyone have a clue?

In AC, I am trying to enable full wallet of bells.

Update: It seems like the problem is gone. This started because I launched the game through the wii menu. All has been resolved! Big Grin
