Cheat codes on Mac version of dolphin is currently broken. The default codes work properly, but the file cannot be edited, and reverts itself as soon as dolphin is opened. I have tried:

-Editing the file within dolphin
-Editing the file outside of dolphin
-Deleting the file and creating a new one
-Copying a friends cheat file and replacing mine with it.

In all these instances, the file has immediately reverted to the state it was before editing it. I have tried this on both the stable build of dolphin and the latest development build.

Here is a short video demonstrating the bug

I have googled all over and have been unable to find a workaround for this. Id love to be able to help bug test gecko codes for a modding community. Hopefully there is a simple fix for the next dev builds of dolphin Big Grin

Thank you for all your dedication to this wonderful project!

Do you know if your user has full read/write permissions for the Dolphin Global directory?

I have edited the file outside of dolphin, and it saves fine, so I know I have access. I save, and it stays the way I edited. But as soon as I open dolphin, the file reverts back to its original state. This leads me to believe its something going on with dolphin. I have heard that dolphin will automaticaly check the syntax of a cheat file and do something like remove or fix the bad syntax? Im not sure. I have looked into this quite extensively and have been unable to find a solution on my own.
