How do I get Gecko codes (which apparently use weird, err, WiiRD LOL code databases) to work? I saw something about a hardware device in the list of possible thread titles. Does Dolphin emulate the device?

You right click a game and click properties > gecko codes, then click download WiiRDatabase (or something like that) Also! make sure you enable cheats (duh) and put a USB Gecko in one of the GC memory card ports. 05-09-2011, 12:10 AM
The procedure worked. It led to some errors, however. The errors are as follows:
1: "BackPatch - no support for operand size 2 Error encountered accessing emulated address 524d4368. Culprit instruction: mov word ptr ds:[rbx+rdx], cx at 0x149d6b72" 2: "BackPatch: Currently only supporting reads. Attempted to write to 524d4368." 3: "Backpatch write - not through EAX" Vesion of Dolphin emulator: r7410 |
