Gecko Code Help

I'm trying to use this code with a game. I know I need to go to Properties > Gecko Codes but that's about it. I'd tried to click Edit Conf and put the code in there but no luck. If someone could tell me how to do this that would be great!

Did you enable Cheats in Dolphin's Config tab?

Haha wow, I actually hadn't, buuuuut, it didn't change anything :/

Well Dolphin isn't perfectly accurate compared to consoles, so some cheats don't work.

It's not that the cheat doesn't work, I just can't edit the .ini file with Gecko codes at all (well I it doesn't change anything and it get's rewritten to whatever it was before every time I close and open it back up.

Do you have write permissions for the Dolphin Emulator folder in My Documents?
