GCPad causing controller lag Mayflash WiiU/GC 4 port adapter

My Mayflash 4 Port WiiU/GC controller adapter works on my computer and on a friends and everything with the adapter and controller work fine, but for some reason, literally as soon as I open GCPad the controller becomes laggy. When I go into control panel > devices the controller works fine until GCPad is opened. The keybinds are fine and all work, there is just massive input lag. I am very upset and I've tried hours to make this work so I am now posting on this forum, praying there is some sort of solution. All drivers are installed as well.

tldr; input lag when gcpad opened, controller works, adapter works, drivers installed, issue with dolphin?!?!? Pls help!

Are you using it in WiiU mode? I never had to mess with key/buttonbinds directly.

Its in PC mode. I have no idea why this is happening, makes me wanna pull my hair out haha

You should use it in Wii U mode. All the rest will be handled automatically by Dolphin.
