Hi all,
I'm not the most savvy on emulation, however I've done a couple hours of googling and I can not find help recovering my .gci save of Twilight Princess. I was playing fine last night, closed properly and shut down pc. When I tried to load my save today, it says there is no saved data in the game. The .gci file is still there with the correct time stamp of my last save, but dolphin just does not recognize it.
I tried importing it to a memory card raw file, but it gives an error saying failed to import. If I make a new .gci, dolphin can import it fine. I tried to use a 3rd party importer but that just led to a corrupted mem card.
I also tried using a memory recover tool to the .gci and the raw file (from the 3rd party app), but both files failed as memory cards.
I don't know why this happened and didn't see anywhere that this is a known bug, so if there's any more information I could give please let me know. Attached below is my .gci save (compressed). Next time I know to back up the working save and use states!
This game is so long and I spent so much time on it, so if anyone can save me from a restart that would be fantastic.
