Quote:What are the recommended settings so far? So I can add that to the main post.Global:
Enable Dual Core
Enable Idle Skipping
HLE The IPL
JIT Recompiler
Uncheck lock threads to cores, dsplle on thread, confirm on stop, and panic handlers
Plugins:
Direct3D9
DSP-HLE
Graphics:
Do not use Widescreen hack
Anti-alias: Whatever you want but it will cause a huge drop in fps in some spots
Enable CPU EFB Access
Enable efb copy to ram if you want a proper map, enable efb copy to texture and efb scaled copy if you want to get rid of the bluriness (efb to texture is also faster)
Disable safe texture cache
Disable use XFB
Disable use real xfb
Audio:
Dsound
Enable HLE Audio
Enable DTK Music
Uncheck enable audio throttle and RE0 audio hack
I would also recommend you post a list of current known issues and solutions:
-Sound issues (turning audio throttle off helps but doesn't fix it completely)
-1/4 screen blurred with efb to ram (use efb to texture to fix)
-map issues with efb to texture (use efb to ram to fix this)
-Screwed up grass (no known fix)
-Hyrule field slows down as the game progresses (they're working on this extensively right now so it will be fixed soon)
-I also noticed that with efb to texture even though the blurriness is fixed the top left corner is still 1 pixel off from the rest of the image, it requires extremely close examination to notice though (completely unnoticeable in gameplay and barely noticeable in screenshots)
Quote:Did you read what I wrote under the quote? I believe scaled efb and safe texture cache off are default settings in 2.0 RC1.
Left half of screen is still blurry with those settings.
I read it but didn't understand it at all. And that's odd since the settings that I posted are widely known to fix the problem, and they work for me. Are you referring to your settings or the settings that I posted?
Only three methods exist that I know of to fix that issue:
1. Use the native resolution and aspect ratio (640 x 480 and 4:3)
2. Use the bleach vs. crusade hack (causes all sorts of problems)
3. Use copy efb to texture with efb scaled copy and turn off safe texture cache, xfb, and real xfb (causes a discolored map)
The issue is caused by the efb being copied at the native resolution rather than the selected resolution. By making sure that the native resolution and selected resolution are the same that eliminates the problem. Alternatively a hack has been introduced that allows the efb resolution to be scaled to the proper resolution but the hack will only work if the efb is being copied as a texture, if the efb is being copied to ram it MUST be copied at the native resolution. Bleach vs. crusade hack causes the target projection overlay to be set behind the rendered frame, this will fix the issue but will also remove anything else that relied on projection overlay.
