Im so tempted to play, but its not good with its slow speed.
But, i will have to wait untill i get a new computer before expecting a higher speed.
And i do see that it improves more and more with each release.
Its really worth the waiting when you can play games without the console.

I have a question:
If you have the copy.
Then how do you play the game in Dolphin if you havent loaded the disc to the computer?
Isnt the GC and Wii discs in a special format?
Computer:
AMD Phenom II 945
Gigabyte GTX 660 Ti OC, 2GB
3x2GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM
Ubuntu 12.10 amd64

one of 2 ways, rip through wii over ethernet/wireless or get drive that can read them and rip from that drive, both methods are found on forums.

Hello people, I have a question, I wonder what is the best configuration of the Dolphin that someone has achieved in the query performance and speed? I have a good PC, is a QuadQ6600@3.0ghz, 3.5GB RAM, GeForce 8800GT 512MB Overcloked and WinXP 32bit and still in some parts of the game with only 50% or less of the original speed, anyone have any tips better than expected get a 100% compatible version of the emulator? hehehe And congratulations to the developers of the emulator, this being perfect.

(Sorry for the Bad english, Google Translation...)

oh no, problem with the 3rd temple (temple of water) the game freezes after killing the boos Sad , Does anyone have a solution for this?

EDIT: solved, enable TLB hack and disable idle skipping.

New problem: when I exit the temple, the FPS in the next scene and the lake hylia is 1 FPS or less, and the game is now unplayable, I try disable and enable all setings, lower the resolution, use frameskip 9 but only 1 fps Sad

EDIT2: solved, only restart the pc XD

anyone get this game to play at a reasonable speed (the gamecube version)? i fixed all my crashing problems. so the game doesnt crash anymore for me. thnx to XFB and the JIT cache unlimited awesomeness in the debugger. dolphin has only crashed once after i fixed the specific issues... and that was because explorer decided to have a spazz attack over another program i was running. so the game runs. with no sound issues ive noticed.. music plays pretty well based on whatever the FPS is... slows down and speeds up accordingly.

i was getting about ~26-31fps in hyrule field. which seemed to be the normal speed. only slightly fast. and the woods area was also fine for me. until i did the forest temple. and which point the woods decided to drop down to ~6-12fps and now maintains that slow speed. hyrule field was running at full speed till i did that death mountain's temple. then hyrule field started hating on me with 6-8fps. on the menus and in the towns i was getting like 240fps till it leveled out at about 30fps (normal-ish speed for me. only slightly fast, again) and on occasion all the areas will speed back up to normal. like ill ride thru hyrule field at normal speed every once in a while. same as the woods. but then it slows down again for no apparent reason.

i was just wondering if anyone had some specific tweaks in the config and gfx and maybe the debug, solely for Twilight Princess? ive looked through the other threads and those dont really work for me specifically at least.

system:
core 2 quad Q6600 @ 2.40 GHz 2.39 GHz
4.00 GB Ram
32 bit OS << :'(
9800GT gfx card
blah etc.

k.thx. bye. lol.

Edit: okay. after playing with a few gfx settings i was able to bump my fps in all the problem areas up by approx 3-5fps. so as far as im concerned. its playing at about 97% correct speed. lol. and thats good enough for me. hyrule field is only 8-12fps. but i can live with that. thanks anyway. =D now im off to save hyrule for the bajillionth time!

also in gfx settings you should check the box for 4:3 because you are not playing the game at the correct aspect ratio.
