Hacks
- ZTP Bloom Hack Enabled
- Safe Texture Cache Disabled

Best Options
- Auto-Scale or XFB enabled
- Idle Skip Enabled
- Dual Core Enabled
- Optimize Quatizers Enabled
- Copy EFB to RAM

Problems
- FPS regressions in big areas like Hyrule
- Dolphin doesn't understand its DSP program code
- Shadow Midna does not show (Alpha Blending bug?)

Other Info
- Uses a lot of Display Lists
- Disable Copy EFB for some speedup
- Copies the EFB about 4 or 5 times, used to create the Bloom effect, Color the map, and show the HUD.

Nothing mentioned about the sound. IIRC, it doesn't work?

Edit: oops, quoted on accident..

Omega,

From where you taked these photos?!? (O.o)
Dolphin running on a Pentium 2?
10 fps in the intro?
6 fps during cutscenes?!?

By the way, about the thread, great work. Clear and complete, as you usually do.

umm i dont know if anyone gets this error but each time a play the game, and after about 10 mins of playing this game i get this error:

"Read from invalid memory region (0x2c7b9c14)

This is either the game crashing randomly, or a TLB write. Several games uses the TLB to map memory. This function is not supported in Dolphin. Unfortunately there is no way to recover from this error, so dolphin will now exit abruptly. Sorry!"

my spec is :
Core 2 Quad 2.4 Ghrz 8 MB cashe
4 GB ram DDR 2
1 GB video card Nividia 9500

o and im using SVN R2745
[EDIT] o and i also enabled the TLB hack but when i do that i get an other error which says something like 07x.... something like that and then says if i want to report it to the dev, and then when i click contenue i keep getting the exact same error again and again

if anyone knows how to fix this please tell me Smile

Try the "TLB hack".

Open dolphin --> left click on zelda --> right click on "Properties" --> right click on "TLB hack" until this option is marked with [V] (not a square, or blank).

Now try run the game one more time.

Hope this helps.

Next time, please, specify your config.

For this time:
-If you're running Zelda USA you'll get tons of TLB errors. The only solution is to save the game after any achievement and go on so.
You'll get TLB errors expecially during cutscenes, skipping them helps a lot.
-If you're running Zelda PAL you can get some TLB errors until the 3rd Dungeon. And during some specific cutscene.
About random crashes the advice is the same: Save a lot.
About cutscenes: When the kids are kidnapped and when you return from the castle as wolf, just after talking with Zelda, skip these cutscene... the game will always crash there.

Check the very first post and be sure you're using the right settings (As the great Omega adviced).

Don't enable TLB hack, it's useless in this game.
If you own the USA version it'll be very hard to complete the game. Be warned.

thanks alot for your reply, as for using the config i used the 1 that omega used, so i guess ill need to wait till this TLB error is fixed, because im using the USA version Confused

but acually enabling the TLB hack is kind of useful, what i ment is this:

when you get a TLB error, insted you get an other error which if you press ok you can contenue the game but ever milesecond you get that error, but...
if you hold down the ENTER button so it keeps pressing the OK button, you can acually play the game (its not a way to play a game ofc) but in this way if you forgot to save your progress, this way you can save it.

I could sworn you're using USA version.
As i said is very hard to complete the game with that version.

By the way, this is last post of mine in this thread.
I was the owner of this thread in the old Forum, but now is an Omega thread. And he's skilled enough to answer user questions, really much more than me.
So, Omega, sorry me for my intrusion.

About the TLB fixes, we're waiting this from a lot but... if you ws in the old Forum... you should know there's only a person who maded the TLB fully work: Chuck Norris.

If you find a store with PAL version for sell, buy it.
You'll be able to complete the game.
