First off, I hope this is in the right section.
I've been trying to disable the fur texturing in Star Fox Adventures/Assault as my computer has a hard time rendering them during cut scenes/main menu (slows down massively, pot-luck if it crashes or not), but I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing; to be frank.
I've tried opening the .iso files for the games to see if I could delete the textures, with no luck as I couldn't figure out the file path for them.
I have thought of basically making my own texture pack for the games, just omitting the fur textures, but I don't know how to do that; and at this point I'm just frustrated because these two games where favs of my sister and I growing up, and I just want to enjoy them again.
I know for certain its the fur textures, because as soon as I actually get in-game everything works fine, as the in-game models don't have that fur texture. Also on the main menu when I go to audio/language settings the lag disappears completely after the camera pans to slippy/rob respectfully, also when I go to load a save there is a brief moment during the loading screen where Fox's fur texturing disappears, and the music picks back up to it's normal speed.
Any help would be appreciated.
