Hi there!

I adquired a The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker ISO and I was so excited to finally play it but when I tried to make it run I just saw a black screen without even sound. I've checked several posts like this (most of them from like 3 years ago that's why I'm asking it now) and the problem still. I used Dolphin long time ago(10 or 6 months?) emulating Super Mario Galaxy 2 and it used to run perfectly but after seeing the zelda problem, I tried with Mario and it was the same: black screen without sound.

Do someone knows what cant it be and how to solve it? If someone knows a version where Wind Waker is stable and doesn't crash I'd also be grateful

I'm using the Dolphin 4.0.2 version

There is no support for any version below the 5.0 stable, so at minimum update to that. But I really recommend getting the latest development version from here: https://dolphin-emu.org/download/ these are usually more stable than the "stable" version because it has about 11.000 fixes and enhancements since 5.0 which is more than 3 years old now.

I've tried that version and works perfectly with Super Mario Galaxy 2 but with wind waker the problem stills.

Ok then it might be time to do an integrity scan of your WW disk... maybe it got broken somehow... You can trigger this by right clicking the Windwaker disk inside of Dolphin, selecting properties, going to the Verify tab and then click verify integrity, after that please copy the string of characters that is next to the MD5 (aka the MD5-hash) and post it here.
