I've tried Timesplitters Future Perfect (3) NTSC on revision r7473 and It runs about half speed on my system with no glitches. Sound is perfect outside of the videos, even at 50-75% speed.

Win 7 x64
i5 480m @3.30ghz turboboost.
Radeon 6550m

Enable EFB to texture, the other options don't seem to do much.

Movements are somewhat jerky but otherwise smooth (if that makes any sense)

Overall the game needs either A) i7 @5ghz or B) more optimization.

i5 480m max turbo boost is 2.93ghz , not 3.3ghz
http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=52952

Edit : I don't have this game but i did benchmark my desktop and Laptop . About 1.5 times faster on desktop
Maybe it could run fullspeed on my desktop . 5Ghz is overkill

My CPU is overclocked to run @ 3.30 with turboboost. I have the 13" Acer 3820tg Smile

I think one of the reasons that the game runs so poorly on my laptop is due to having a GPU with a 128 bit memory bus. My 3Dmark score is only 7930 without overclocking anything.

As far as the difference in performance between your laptop and desktop, this probably attributes to the slower GPU. That and your turboboost might not be kicking in due to TDP and power limitations.

The i5 @3.30ghz is faster than a 3.6ghz core 2 duo. Even with a good video card this game is much more demanding than say, Metroid prime.
