That bug is incredibly minor... I bet it's on the real console. Play it on a GameCube/Wii to be sure.

I'm having a problem at the loading screen. The loading shows up on the black screen and it stops there. I tried arcade and in the character selection menu Cortez doesn't show up and when I try and switch the character the menu and stats change accordingly but the game freezes before displaying the character. Other then that... the game runs very smoothly in the menu screen at least Tongue 60FPS

Operating System: Windows 8.1
Processor/CPU: Intel i7-3630QM @ 2.4 GHz
Video Card/GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 670MX
Memory/RAM: 12GB
Dolphin Revision Currently Using: 4.0.2 x64

Make sure MMU Speed Hack is checked (right-click your game and go into Properties)

It is, on or off it has no effect.

MMU Speed hack doesn't affect this game.

This games runs slow and stutters on my Phenom 955 OC to 3.5ghz
I have to turn the music off as its sound is crackly, although the "VBeam Speed Hack"
does improve the FPS.

Is anyone able to benchmark to see how good it runs on Intel i7

Tell us your framerate and we can extrapolate it based on the dolphin benchmark results. I can already estimate that an i5 haswell will be about 250% faster than your computer; more with an overclock.

Been attempting to run this with my current rig and got a few things to note (mostly measurements):

On Dolphin 4.0.2 stable:
1. The emulator will set the emulation to a 4:3 aspect ratio if set to 'auto' in the settings, so choosing widescreen=yes in-game will result in it getting squashed. To play this game properly on widescreen, I need to set Dolphin to force 16:9, after which the game is stretched until I chose widescreen=yes in-game. (and don't forget to set dolphin back to 'auto' after playing or your other games will be stretched xD)
2. The game supports a 50Hz and 60Hz mode so the next items are measured in both modes:
2a. 60Hz.
- Company logo runs at about 45FPS.
- Menu sways between ~55-60FPS.
- Wait at the menu so the movies start, the game/movies will run at ~50FPS/80% speed.
- If you wait for the movies to run, the menu will run at 60FPS/100% speed afterwards. (menu music is gone which is probably the reason (sound effects still work) but the music also disappears on the GC so that is not a bug of Dolphin).
- Story mode (SP and Coop) runs at minimum ~35FPS/55% speed and maximum ~50FPS/80% speed. It averages at ~40FPS/68% speed.
- Arcade matches run at ~45FPS/78% up to ~55FPS/92%. It'll run at almost 50FPS for most of the time.
- In-game pause menu runs at ~55FPS/95% speed.
2b. 50Hz
- Company logo runs at about 45FPS.
- Menu sways between 45-50FPS.
- Movies run at about 40FPS/80%.
- Also here the menu runs at 50FPS/100% after returning to it after the movies (also music gone etc.)
- Story mode (SP and Coop) runs at minimum ~30FPS/60% speed and maximum ~40FPS/80% speed. It averages at ~35FPS/70% speed.
- Arcade matches run at ~35FPS/70% up to ~45FPS/90%. It'll run at almost 40FPS for most of the time.
- In-game pause menu runs at ~45FPS/95% speed.

I also use the latest master build so here are the measurements when running 4.0-1707:
1. Same as on 4.0.2
2a. 60Hz
- Company logo runs at about 43FPS.
- Menu sways between ~55-60FPS.
- Movies run at ~40FPS/67%
- After movies the menus run at solid 100% speed.
- Story mode (SP and Coop) runs at minimum ~35FPS/55% speed and maximum ~50FPS/80% speed. It averages at ~40FPS/68% speed.
- Arcade matches run at ~48FPS/80% up to ~60FPS/100%. It'll run at almost 55FPS for most of the time.
- In-game pause menu runs at ~55FPS/95% speed.
2b. 50Hz
- Logos only run at 40FPS.
- Menu runs at pretty much 100% (sometimes it even hops up to 103% xD). No noticeable drops even though the counter sometimes showed 98%.
- Movies run at ~35FPS/70%
- After movies the menus run at solid 100% speed.
- Story mode (SP and Coop) runs at minimum ~35FPS/70% speed and maximum ~45FPS/90% speed. It averages closely to 40FPS/80% speed.
- Arcade matches ~35FPS/70% up to ~45FPS/90%. It'll run at just over 40FPS for most of the time (about 85% speed).
- In-game pause menu runs at ~45FPS/95% speed.

Very little difference there and I can not say for certain this can be contributed to the different version.

Other notes:
VPS and FPS values where the same throughout.
Story mode measurements based on the first mission, including cut-scenes (in-game cutscenes. No pre-rendered scenes/movies here.)
Arcade matches measurements based on the Subway map, max bots.
Decreasing graphical settings (such as lowering internal resolution, AA, etc) does not seem to impact the performance at all. This game is fully bottle-necked by the CPU (I assume the MMU is to blame?).
Other than the game not running full speed, everything in the game seems to function properly.
Loading screens always run at 100% speed ;D

TL;DR?
The game does not run at full speed on my system.

I'd love to take a look at the MMU sometime (as I feel that is the killer for this game) when I have the time to see if this game (and others) can be brought to a solid 100% without a 5GHz CPU ;P. Sadly for now I have to put priorities elsewhere.
In the meantime, you guys are doing a great job and I love what you guys have managed to do so far. Looking forward to what the future brings! Wink

PS. Fyi, the issue number named in the game's properties emulation state (issue 6436) is not about TimeSplitters or MMU at all xD
