Yes, no matter what I do a very slight audio delay exists when using LLE. Many people probably don't even notice it, but it stands out when you compare it to HLE.

And yes, my computer is powerful enough to run it at full speed. I get the audio delay even at full speed.

How long is the delay? Your information is useless if you don't provide such info.

In cutscenes? In specific parts of the game? Does it happen constantly or only from time to time? Tell us more

The delay is (this is hard to estimate) about 0.2 seconds at the most, but I've noticed it get a little worse than that on a couple of occasions. It seems to do it pretty much everywhere. Pretty easy to test by firing the slingshot at a wall and watching the flash and listening for the impact sound. So far I've tested the menu sounds, sling shot sounds, and the sword swinging sounds. Every sound seems ever so slightly delayed. I'm not sure about cut-scenes. I'll do some more testing later. As I said, most people probably wouldn't even notice it, but I'm kind of obsessive about these things.

Switching the setting to HLE eliminates the delay. The flash of the sling shot pellet is perfectly in sync with the sound.

It isn't just me either. I've seen this delay mentioned elsewhere.

A few posts ago I was telling you about the music in Ordon Village actually working without missing instruments in HLE for a while but then going back to being broken for me.

Today I decided to give it a try again (after actually completing the game on my real Wii) and I see the music is still broken in 799.

Has anyone gotten the music to work properly at all in Ordon (no missing instruments) with HLE other than me? I'm actually starting to doubt my own sanity right now.

Also, "LLE on thread" causes the game to hang after a few minutes/seconds (looping sound and 0 FPS, the emulator itself is still operable and gives no errors).

The sound delay is perfectly normal with LLE. The audio drivers from OSes such as Windows are not compatible with LLE instructions and this introduces audio delays and lag.

Unfortunately, emulation will never be 100% perfect, so you'll have to deal with it. And whining won't change anything.

I just was asking. And now I have my answer. I wasn't whining.

And actually the delay isn't even .2. It's actually a little less than that. I can force myself to deal with it... as long as it doesn't get any worse.

Thanks for the answer.

Close to finish the game and game works fine with 3.0 but around 3 cutscenes have issues when Enable Dual Core is checked (also you need to deactivate it for the howling stones or it freezes)
