well that wasn't a question , looks like the patch would have to be made into an option

Yea, that would be convenient for people who don't know how to compile like me.
That way we wouldn't have to keep downloading different revs. Just stick it in for all Dolphin codes and make it optional. Does it really help that much? With the PC in my signature I get 4-5 FPS in Hyrule Field. Would it speed it up significantly? I also could use some speed-ups in other areas as well. Thanks Cheers

Twilight Princess is very CPU dependant, you shouldn't expect from your Laptop CPU to give you playable framerates. 3-GHz+ Dualcore and GeForce 8800/ATI 4870 Generation should be sufficient. Although X2DM's Patch made it even more playable then ever before.
Here's a little Vid to proof the "new" performance http://rapidshare.com/files/390089515/zelda_TP.mkv.html Recording with FRAPS caused to run the game with 25-29fps, without it I can play @ 1920x1080 2.25AA 16x Anisotropic Filtering at rocksolid 30fps which means fullspeed.

Hello.. i have the WII version of this game, and im using the 5430 revision.
I already tried to swtich EFB copy to RAM and to TEXTURE but.. my map doenst appear... its all black. AND the mini map that is supossed to apperar in the screen dont show up! What i have to do? And what is that X2DM's patch? Is it already inclued in the 5430 revision? The Hyrule field patch increase the performance in all areas or just in the hyrule field? 05-24-2010, 09:50 AM

I cannot download the video but if you say the truth and you are getting fullspeed and hyrule field, please post your settings because there's no way i can play with my pc on aceptable fps in hyrule field. the latest revision brought a nice speed boost but i have to frame skip 1 if i wanna play it. 05-24-2010, 12:30 PM
Yea I`d really like to see if it runs fullspeed in hyrule now. I have bought a new graphic card so my spec now are :
Intel Core2Duo E7400 2.8Ghz 2Gb DDR2 HD5770 1Gb Win7 Ultimate 64bits Do you think I could run twilight in full speed in hyrule? I used to chek on forums for TP but the new Dolphin compilation wasn't out yet, now that it is, I really want to know if it's now really playable through all the game and if it is optimised for directx 10 or even 11. Thanks and sorry for having a post in the old TP forum. Cheers |
