Yea i just upgraded my CPU... so i don't see why i'm getting these frame drops.(Usually when i stream) But that shouldn't happen at all. CPU usage isn't even getting near 60% so i'm not sure.. 01-01-2014, 10:12 AM

Hi all,
I'm new here and used Dolphin for a while and never had any problems with til now. I'm playing Zelda Twilight Princess (the only game I tried) Now I'm having trouble after finishing the Lakebed Temple. Before that everything worked as a charm!! But now after finishing Lakebed Temple (ater meeting Zelda) when you have to go to North Faron Woods to get the Master Sword... * First I tried the warp gate to get there but that did not work - I got a black screen (ALL other warps work). * After that, I tried to get there without the warp... I warped successfully to S.Faron Woods getting to the entrance by foot (or paw to be correct). But when I tried enter the N. Faron Woods through the "gate and the tunnel", the game froze again in a gray screen. I've changed everything I can think of back and forth.. To me it seems like that area is just not available or gone... Any ideas? 01-02-2014, 07:48 PM
Hey Nino, just a couple of questions for you. Are you by chance using save states instead of the emulated memory card to save your game progress? Also, are you by chance using LLE audio with LLE on a separate thread enabled? Either one of those may lead to crashes or freezes (though save states should be stable more often than not, stuff still happens).
If none of that applies to you, could you provide screenshots of your Dolphin settings? Just click the Config button and take screenshots of the General and Audio tabs, then click the Graphics button and take screenshots of your General, Enhancements, and Hacks tabs (you can post them as attachments here if you want). Hopefully it's something simple to fix. 01-07-2014, 07:44 AM

Hello guys, I'm playing this game with my current specs listed below and ZTP hack enabled along with DSP HLE. The problem is I'm getting low framerates at Hyrule Field (14-20 fps). Rest of the areas work fine. After two years of resignation since my PC wasn't good enough and there wasn't such ZTP hack before I was hoping these specs should be OK considering many people on the testing list with similar PC specs had no problems with the FPS. So I was wondering if it's still not good enough or I'm not doing something about the config. Any advice is welcome and thanks in advance.
Operating System: Windows 7 x64 Processor/CPU: AMD FX 6100 Six-Core Processor Video Card/GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series Memory/RAM: 8gb Dolphin Revision Currently Using: 4.0.2 x64
You're not doing anything wrong. There are two reasons why you're getting such low speeds. The first is that Hyrule Field has always been rather demanding, as far as most people can remember anyway. That hasn't changed; that's just a performance issue inherent in the way Dolphin emulates this game. Secondly, your CPU has relatively weak single-threaded performance, which is one of the bigger factors Dolphin likes in a CPU. Even when overclocked, in Dolphin at least, an AMD FX 6100 performs just slightly below something like my i5-2500K with no overclocking (and no Turbo Boost either). We've done a benchmark (see the Wind Waker CPU Benchmark thread in this forum) proving this.
So you have a double-whammy of trying to run a really demanding section of a game with a CPU that doesn't have the best performance (among other available options that is). 01-14-2014, 11:08 AM

I have a problem with this game only on version 4.0 of dolphin and above... since I switched from the 3.5 version I am only able to see the minimap on D3D11, but with this mode I have too low DPS. The minimap and map are not present on openGL nor D3D9...its not a hardware problem since i cleared the game at around 25-30 dps on version 3.5... i can provide more information when asked! I joined two screenshots..please help! before you say anything about EFB to RAM... done that!
