I did the dump again, and I got the exact same file (comparison software says the 2 files are identical to the last bit). I don't expect the dump software to be buggy, but who knows... I browsed the filesystem using Dolphin and found nothing suspicious. I also tried to extract all the files with success (but of course I can't be sure the files aren't corrupt in some way).

So... for now I'll suppose the image of the game is correct Big Grin But of course if you have hints on how to check more thoroughly the integrity of the data I'm interested.

Which Dolphin version have you been using? What about Dolphin 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5, do those suffer from the same issue?

I have recently started using Dolphin, and have played The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It has been a fun experience so far, and I have felt like I have been using a Gamecube. This is however, I played it and got to certain points where I know there should be background music but there isn't. Is there any way I can fix this, or would it be an ISO bug. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you. P.S. I am extremely sorry if this post is in the wrong location.

Using LLE will solve this

I'm a total noob to this, so, how do you use LLE?
EDIT: Never mind I've figured it out. Thanks for the suggestion! Big Grin

Sorry about this, but I've encountered yet another problem. On my in-game map, the map itself looks weird in that the "texture" of it seems off. I can't really explain this, but I'll put two pictures up if I can of what I mean. Notice the texture of the red circles.
EDIT: I've fixed this! All I had to do was use OpenGL and it was fixed! Also, the game looks much better now! Big Grin

I have just started playing TP and it has been going pretty well. The only problem is what someone else called "ghosting" when there's a lot of bloom (in the twilight realm). This makes objects have another almost transparent layer cover them. I have been able to reduce this to almost nothing by changing the native resolution from 4x to 1x, as someone in an older thread suggested, but now the game is pretty blurry. Is there any way to have 4x resolution without the ghosting? The bloom hack didn't do anything either. I took a screenshot of the problem (especially note Link's eyes):

Edit: The bloom hack started to work for some reason, but it has made the UI disappear, and I would still like to have the effect if that is possible.

Well I did write a section on the wiki about the many ways to resolve this issue but it seems some asshole got rid of it (this is why I don't edit wiki articles anymore, it's a constant battle to keep your work preserved). I don't know when this happened since I haven't visited it in over a year. Unfortunately I can't remember what was written. I find it odd that many similarly valid issues seem to have been removed as well. One day when I feel up to it I'll go digging through the edit history to find it. Just wait until then.

It was actually you who I was talking about. I had lost your post but I have found it again:

There are three known ways to get rid of the bloom offset (the "double ghost image" as you call it):
1. Use an early revision with a projection hack (not recommended)
2. Use a recent revision with efb to ram and 1x internal resolution, the higher your internal resolution is set the worse the offset will get
3. Use a texture cache rewrite build, this will enable you to use higher than native resolutions without a bloom offset but may cause issues in other games

The only way to get a properly working minimap is to use a recent revision with efb to ram or a texture cache rewrite build (which will allow the minimap to work properly with efb to texture buy may cause issues in other games).

What exactly is a texture cache rewrite build? Perhaps that would work.

Edit: I have found one, but it's a very old build from two years ago. Are there more recent ones?

Sorry for not doing my homework by not checking older versions, I thought it was a recent problem, given the popularity of this game. However I did the checkings now, going back as far as 2 years ago, and I didn't find any that works, leading to the conclusion that the copy of the game I have never actually worked. I don't know whether it is corrupt in a way I can't detect or because it is the European version though. I don't expect the dump to be corrupt though, because in all the tests I did I managed to pass the area at least once (I have a saved state in the cave just beyond with the lantern in my inventory so I'm sure I didn't dream it). What I know is that I dumped Mario Galaxy with the same software I used to dump Zelda Twilight Princess and played it to the end with minor troubles, so the dump software should be ok (unless there is a bug specific to dumping GC games).
