Yeah, that's normal. Hyrule field is a demanding area.

Overclock your CPU to increase the frame rate.

Word --> Check it, combined with overclocking - there is an old version of dolphin that increases performance in Hyrule Field no matter what type of PC you have. --> Compared to the current version of dolphin this revision has increased fps in Hyrule Field on three different PCs by 2-6 fps.

The revision is r7435 and can be found on the old dolphin archive --> http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-dolphin-build-archive

Try it out 'n stuff.

Southern Gate 3.5 (Stable) (21-22fps)

Southern Gate r7435 (25-26fps)

Old Dolphin builds aren't supported. If you run into issues while using those builds, keep it to yourself or use the latest builds. We also don't want to link to that site here, so I provided an alternative.

You're more likely to get this

i have used a save game of a friend that he has finished the game and i get in hyrule field 21FPS with my actually rig in my signature,i'm using the 7719R
so i think that with the specification that i talked about i must have ~28FPS.

It would seem with Idle Skipping turned off this game runs better (or at least the music doesn't stutter to make that difference noticeable), but it does make the emulation end on some odd events, like taking a screen shot or alt+entering, or alt+tabbing. It does not end every time you do one of those, but it can.

Does this make sense for anyone? I have not noticed this in any other games.
