Hi,
new to Dolphin and am trying it out with my copy of Twilight Princess. The game just kept crashing when starting a new game. Changed graphics setting from openGl to direct3d 12 and it will run now. Any other graphics tweaks advice. Thanks 03-11-2016, 12:08 AM
I have problem, Im using dolphin 4.08 and while playing, I cant see the water texture. I see the water as a grey, black color with some lines. What can I do to solve this problem. Im using Mac OSX El capitan. Thank you.

Anyway, this is a problem with Intel graphics on OS X that you can't really do anything about. 03-11-2016, 04:34 AM

It probably fixes this issue. 06-18-2016, 12:17 AM
Are there any AR or Gecko codes or patches for 60 FPS Twilight Princess? I've searched around but can't find anything of the sort.
Nope, there are no FPS codes for Twilight Princess. In fact, 99% of all games don't have FPS codes. There is only a small handful such as Super Mario Sunshine, Ocarina of Time, Pikmin and a few more. Creating these FPS is not easy and there is no universal solution for this. I read plently of times how many would like a Wind Waker 60 FPS hack. Some games are just easier to do so, I believe Pikmin benefited from the CPU Clock Override. It is just the way how games are programmed. Super Mario 64 for example is horrible, every aspect of the game is bound to the 30 FPS cap. Simply setting the cap to 60 will cause the game to speed up twice.
Even so, the games that have a FPS hack may not work as intended. Ocarina of Time in 30 FPS is certaintly doable from start to finish, but a few parts are too problematic such as timers and item durations. Almost magically, Super Mario Sunshine almost works perfectly except for cutscenes running half speed. Asking for an Aspect Ratio Fix code (such as 16:9, 21:9 or any other ratio) may result in more luck as they are much easier to make and work better than your average 60 FPS hack. Yet again, even creating an Aspect Ratio Fix is hard, just to showcase making FPS hack are even harder. 06-27-2016, 01:57 PM
I apologize in advance if someone has posted on this before, but a search of the forums and google have turned up nothing for me.
I'm running into trouble after the Lakebed temple because the game has skipped the cutscene with Zant that is supposed to turn me into a wolf. I just never saw the cutscene, and have remained link with Midna, although when she pops up I cannot start a dialogue and she pops right back down. When I enter hyrule I DO get thrown out of the bar, and the cat helps me get through the window, but my link form can't seem to walk across the ropes... Since this happened I've tried a number of the "Form Switch" cheats to no avail, so I'm running out of ideas. I just updated to 5.0 after encountering this issue hoping it might help, I believe I was running 4.0.2 prior. Any help is greatly appreciated! edit: The md5 hash checks out so my iso shouldn't be the culprit. |
