Sounds like driver bugs on your graphics card.

Nice piece of forking Can't say I'm all that surprised, but to see 1288 to mess graphics THAT bad was unexpected. Luckily it's no longer this bad in latest revisions.. Intel drivers seem to have a hard time with integers. The graphics are not exactly the same as with D3D, and the drivers are completely different (at least I don't know this issue happening with Windows+OpenGL+IntelHD, I don't have this game so I can't check), so I'd say this needs to be considered to be a different issue.
But as JMC47 said, this (too) is most likely caused by Intel HD drivers. Only time will tell if driver updates will ever fix this. Since integer based arithmetics are not going away, this probably won't be patched within Dolphin code. Just for reference, the Intel HD + D3D issue has been discussed here: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-gr...n-4-0-1288 , there is an issue tracker report at https://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/list with issue number 7167.
personnaly I played Zelda TP with Dolphin 4.0 and nvidia card and i didn't meet any problem

Thanks , and yes, it probably is a driver bug, which is too bad really. The older versions of Dolphin that don't have this glitch are too slow for optimal gameplay on my computer, and the newer versions which have good speed also have the glitch. I can't really think of a way to solve it. I suppose I'll just have to continue playing on the Cube instead, though I'd heard good things about this game on Dolphin (HD and everything) so I wanted to try that out.
Thanks for the reference. While it's using D3D instead of OpenGL, there could still be some connection, and gives me hope that eventually there'll be some way to solve this problem. Well 4.0 itself doesn't have the graphic glitches but it does have the slowdown (which is another matter entirely, I think). Still, that's interesting. Perhaps an Nvidia card could solve my problem, though I don't have the money at the moment to invest in one. Thanks for that.
Anyone knows what it causing the violet line around the map? Played the game two years ago and i think i had the same problem but solved it somehow..
Backend doesnt change anything. And im already using safest possibilitiy of efb to ram. Using current developer revision. Hello everyone. I am having an issue with TP. Everything seems okay except one situation: The game runs extremely slow. I have my FPS at 60 frames yet during gameplay it it anywhere between 20 FPS to 35 FPS, and VPS is even lower. I have chosen not to change anything until I can get advice on how to increase the speed on TP to make it enjoyable without wanting to cut it off.
Side Note: I recently upgraded my MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2011) from Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63b) to Mac OS X Maverick 10.9.4 (13E28), but I can't change the setting on my account page. |
