Guys,
I use the newest version of dolphin 4.0.1 and i want to play zelda twilight princess with widescreen hack on because i have an nvidia surround setup at home. The problem is that i have issues with the water when i play with the widescreen hack. ( will post screenshot). How can i fix this? i have read something about a swiss-gc fix but i cant seem to get it working with dolphin. Here is the screenshot: resolution is 5040x1050 I hope this can be fixed and i hope that someone can help me with this. 12-01-2013, 04:11 AM
The widescreen hack is just that, a hack. It may work for some games perfectly, decent for others, or appear horribly broken in some. You're forcing the game to do something it was never designed to do after all. There's little helping Dolphin's widescreen hack if it looks broken, so take another look at Swiss-GC. There's a thread in the General Discussion forum with instructions for Dolphin iirc; you should have a look at that and try again.

Your videocard is the problem.
I did some testing, there's literally nothing else you can do but try the other backends. The intel cards tend to have this problem; it's not a fault of dolphin to my knowledge. 12-15-2013, 01:28 AM

I'm not 100% sure; but I do know on my NVIDIAs and other people's AMD/ATi Radeons that it works fine. And I've seen multiple reports of it failing on Intel HD integrated chips.
You don't have a video card according to your profile, you just have integrated graphics. Buying a video card would fix it. |
