The other thread has become really huge and hard to navigate.

Ok, so the general consensus seems to be that the bloomhack is now obsolete and just breaks the minimap, but everyone still has big slowdowns in hyrule field where the fps drops down to almost unbearable levels.

There is no known fix at the moment.

Oddly enough this issue is considered "fixed" when it is not:

The threads size doesn't matter. Don't create new game threads when one already exists!

This was fixed a long time ago. The ZTP speedup hack has been part of the dolphin svn for some time now. It might still not run fullspeed for you because it's a large area and your hardware is insufficient but their is no "issue". If you have a high end cpu it will run at fullspeed or close to it.

I am unconvinced of this. I have an i5-750 which is not a bad cpu and the slowdown is extreme. There is clearly a problem when the majority of the population sees fps drop from around 60 to 15

Now THIS is a thread worth closing ^^
If people started making up several threads to one game, ...naaah, that would make the forum a total mess.
Intel i5-4690k (Devil's Canyon) @ 3.5 GHz (+Scythe Mugen) / Gainward GTX 1070 Phoenix (OC'd) / ASUS Z97 PRO GAMER / 16GB G.Skill DDR3-2400 CL10 TridentX / X-Fi XtremeMusic / Win10 Pro 64bit / Dell S2716DG Monitor / 3x original WiiMote+MotionPlus+Nunchuk

Something is very wrong then. The hack must not be working for you. I'm getting 20 fps on my Q6600 @ 3.2GHz and I'm pretty close to the end of the game. And I know several I7 users that have reported fullspeed. Are you sure you have the hack checked in the game properties?

@StripTheSoul

Yeah if you remember we actually did have two [GC] Twilight Princess threads going at the same time for awhile, it was confusing as hell and as a result one of them ended up being closed.

I own an i3 and I got 25 fps with EFB-RAM, but If I change EFB-texture I got full speed like the pictures below Smile
