alright, first off here are my relevant PC specs:
AMD Phenom x2 550 (3.11GHz)
4GB ddr3 ram
onboard (shouldn't be the problem for this, i think) ATI Radeon HD 4200 with supposedly 768mb RAM
i'm running PAL of ZWW in Dolphin 2.0 on XP pro SP3 x86
my problem is i'm one of those poor fellows who seemingly may not use the picto-box.
i get the best experience with the openGL plugin, resolution set to native, 1x anisotropic filtering and no AA.
experience with openGL plugin:
when i have EFB set to RAM using the picto box leads to a soundloop and the game getting stuck.
EFB to GL results in the very same thing, after disabling EFB copy completely i encounter some weird graphics behaviour AND the picto box problem.
experience with D3D plugin (CPU->EFB and EFB scaled copy enabled):
EFB to RAM -> soundloop for like 3 seconds on use of the box but i can take pictures with it (gives me graphics issues (e.g. ladders, eyes of characters and carpets not being visible at all from distance and behaving quite weird til i'm right in front of them)
EFB to texture -> little soundloop, but when taking the actual picture (blends shut) the game freezes completely (aforementioned graphics behave somewhat differently (i think) but still weird)
EFB copy disabled -> same camera/graphics behaviour as with EFB->texture PLUS seemingly sporadic FPS drops
example of mentioned graphics issues:
so is there either way to fix one of the good working settings? (meaning, either fixing the picto box on openGL OR fixing the graphics issues on D3D)
oh and btw - i'm encountering known crash issues when using save states, too. is there any way to fix this yet? (read something about this only happening on 32 bit machines - is that true?)
help would really be appreciated!
regards
