Yeah you could still play and beat the dungeon, it's just the flickering is a bit hard on the eyes and makes things difficult to see. It seems Dolphin has trouble rendering the heat effect in this dungeon, same thing can be observed with other things in the game that emit heat or heat light, seems it is the heat wave effect that Dolphin has trouble rendering for this specific game.

To solve the issue with Dragon Roost Cavern disable Copy EFB or play at the native resolution of the game or hardware which is 640 x 480 I believe.

I've tried both, with no success, but I'm fine with it already. I finished the temple a while back (still kept saveslot for testing offcourse ). I'll just have to live with it I guess, no biggie

I'm having a problem. Immediately after the opening intro story once starting a new file, the screen fades to black and the music starts looping.

I solved the issue, what you have to do is lower the framelimit to as low as possible, until the sound music starts looping and then put the framelimit back to normal and everything works fine.

Hey, guys..why is the FPS locked at 36 for me? Can that be changed or is hardcoded for the game it-self. Also, I seem to have a issue with music. It works but plays like 1.5x times faster than it should although I have no exact comparison, just feels like it's too fast.
Running SVN 5153 along with DX9 and EFB to RAM, 4xSSAA..
Q9550 @ 2.8GHz, GTX470, 4GB 800MHz, Win7 64-bit, Intel 320 SSD 120GB
Current build: 3.0 64-bit Current game(s): Metroid Prime 3 Corruption (random testing from time to time to see if any tweaks will help). 03-07-2010, 02:21 PM
I'm having three problems with this game:
The game often slows down (along with the music). During cinematics the sound is faster than what is being shown. And sometimes after cinematics the screen goes black and becomes unresponsive. My computer specs are: HP Pavilion laptop (I know laptops aren't great for games but I'm on the go) Windows Vista 32 bit IntelCore 2 DuoCPU T8100 2.1GHZ (I'm pretty sure this is a dualcore so I have dualcore speedup checked) nVidia Geforce 8400M GS 1521 MB 3.0 GB of RAM DirectX10 I also want to know why Dolphin DirectX9 isn't working right (I hear sound but get no picture). If I could get Dolphin DirectX9 to work I feel this game would run much better on this computer. Thanks in advance. |
