I'm using Dolphin R3914.
I keep getting random black screens whenever I do a sword combo or come up to a wide open area. Can anyone diagnose this? Thanks. 08-04-2009, 10:17 AM
If you're having trouble passing the Temple of the Gods
Here's how I did it. You can't really use super hookshot/etc because you need to carry the statues and can't use items at the same time. 1) Save your game and copy your Memory Card file in the GC directory 2) Download Dolphin r3416 from Orleans' site 3) Paste Memory Card file into r3416 GC directory 4) Edit your GZLE01.ini to add the following to right below the item hang patch (make sure you include the "+" sign). This fixes a switch freeze problem with r3416 (thanks maratanos): +$Fix memory corruption 0x8000e000:dword:0x480002f5 0x8000e004:dword:0x80010014 0x8000e008:dword:0x7c0803a6 5) Play Temple of the Gods without any platform, switch, or crash problems whatsoever! Albeit without sound. 6) Once you're done with the Temple, save and copy file back to the latest SVN. As always, remember not to use Save States, and to check Fix Item Hang before new items/dungeons. 08-04-2009, 02:42 PM
I've looked through all 21 pages of this thread because I had the exact same problem regarding getting past the intro cutscene of Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
I'm running Dolphin Svn Build 3661 and looked all over for how to access this "Item Hang Fix" but I never saw the word "patches" anywhere in anything in my dolphin folder Excuse my stupidity, I am a absolute noob to all of this but I'm quickly learning The closest I thought I ever got to accessing this Item Hang Fix was when I went into Dolphin -> User -> GameConfig -> GZLE01.ini where I found these several lines of text (I decided not to add the rest of it, considering its a fairly large amount of text [EmuState] #The Emulation State. EmulationStateId = 2 [OnLoad] [OnFrame] $Fix item hang 0x802904B4:dword:0x4E800020 $Max health 0x803C4C09:byte:0x50 $Current health 0x803C4C0B:byte:0x50 At "$Fix item hang" am I supposed to type something next to it or what? One person referenced in the thread that he had erased the entire line of text, (at least that's what I think he meant) but when I started the game it still could not get me past even this beginning cutscene. Could anyone please help a total noob with this simplest of issues? I've spent hours now trying to figure this out and have come no further in attempting to fix this problem. Thank you 08-04-2009, 03:59 PM
@Shenzinator: Right click on the Iso -> Properties -> Patch(es). There, make a tick to Item Hang fix.
