why in the beginning of Wind Waker Dolphin2.0 - 28-30fps
and Dolphin (emucr) 5869 - 24-28 fps? What is better? PS http://www.dolphin-emu.org/wiki/index.ph...Wind_Waker 07-12-2010, 08:30 AM
Settings?
And as for which is better, neither. It's personal preference.

Hello,
Could someone help me with an issue. It's driving me nuts and I don't know what to do. The game has been running great (sound issues during cutscenes and FPS dropping to 20 but no REAL problems), it has not been crashing or anything like that but once I got to the Forbidden Fortress, I cannot enter any door. When I try to enter a door, the screen fades to gray as it should but then it just stays that way. The music is still going and I can just reload by hitting F1 or F2 from that state but I cannot get past that point. I've tried several doors to enter the fortress and it happens with every one. Also, when the searchlight catches me, the same thing happens, only the screen goes black instead of gray. My configuration is like on the wiki page. I'm using Dolphin 2.0 Please help someone. 07-17-2010, 12:11 PM
is there any way to get this game to run in widescreen aspect, like not stretched. i thought i had it running in proper 16:9 mode in the past with a diff rev, but i cant get widescreen hack or anything to work on the latest

Depends on the revision. Widescreen hack works with little to no problems with certain revisions. Personally I don't mind running the game in 4:3.

It should not be slow with those settings on dolphin 2.0. What are your settings?

That tells me almost nothing. Give me an exact readout of all of your settings. This game extensively uses the efb which puts a lot of stress on the gpu load so you might need to turn down your resolution and AA depending on what you have them set at (which I don't know because you haven't told me). Revision 5016 MIGHT give you a small speedup over using 2.0 without any negative consequences.
