I tried all those, but still got blackscreen'd. I then tried r6600 and found out it worked, and with less cutscene audio problems than the r6269! I'm going to continue using this revision as I don't seem to be getting any slowdowns whatsoever. Not 100% sure how stable it is, because I haven't used it a ton yet, but it's definitely faster.

Plz help! I'm getting the same problem as dkilley above me but only during game. EDIT: I fixed mine idk if it would apply to DKilley but i changed my d11 to d9 plugin.

hello

have you some issues with the sound ?
and what is the best version of Dolphin to use and the best config ?

for me the game works well but i have some issues with sound, and rarely some insignificant grafic bugs

i used the EUR version
with Dolphin 2.0 stable, and Dolphin rev 6551

I'm having a problem with Wind Waker. After the Forsaken Fortress and the discussion at Windfall Island with the King of Red Lions, the screen blacks out, but the emulator is still responsive. It's weird, but it has happened twice now.
Any ideas?

Try different settings and different revisions.

I notice these issues too:

My sound seems to have a slight problem syncing, especially longer clips for major game events. Graphics, some doubleimage/blurring with the heat wavy effect in the first dungeon and from lamps.

Here are the settings I am using which I think are about as good as you can get as far as a combination of speed and compatibility for this game:

Emulator revision - Dolphin 2.0

OPTIONS
JIT recompiler
HLE the IPL - ON
Enable Dual Core - ON (BIG speedup.. may cause random crashes once in a blue moon, but worth it IMO)
Enable Idle Skipping - OFF

GRAPHICS
Plugin - Direct3D9
Widescreen Hack OFF
VSync OFF
EFB Copy - ENABLED - To RAM (copy must be enabled or you get some very ugly graphics issues, and NOT to texture, or you get crashes when taking pictures and a few other places)
Antialiasing - NONE
EFB Scaled Copy - OFF (haven't noticed any performance improvement with it, and MAY make double images/heat effect worse)
CPU -> EFB Access - OFF (this one is known to cause glitches if it is enabled with this plugin. At least with many ATI cards... I know it made some kind of ugly black diagonal stripes on this game for me)
Safe Texture Cache - OFF (having it on hits performance, and I have not seen any improvements in compatibility with this game)

DSP
Enable HLE audio - ON
Enable DTK Music - ON
Audio Throttle - OFF

Here are my system specs:
Windows XP SP3
4GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD2400 XT
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0 GHz

As you can see my system is pretty low-end, however with these settings I am able to run this game full speed at native resolution easily.

If I go to i720 (1280x720), it runs at around 75-90% and goes as low as 60% in spots BUT turning the Emulation->Frameskipping setting on to 1 brings it right back to 100% and totally playable. I haven't seen any jumping, flickering, sound distortion, abnormal speed or any other noticeable effect from the frameskips either on this game, and it's SO much prettier in HD, so I personally use the higher resolution with frameskipping on.

I am pretty sure I have gotten rid of the sound sync problem at one point messing with my settings, but all I can tell you for sure is it may be related to Emulator Dual Core, DSP Sound Throttle, or Emulator Idle Skipping, try turning each of those settings off and on one at a time.

I updated to the most recent build of Dolphin and now Zelda: WW crashes my computer after 5-10 minutes of playing. This happens with both the Direct3D9 and OpenGL plugins.

Reverting to 6699 seems to solve the problem.

Specs:
Intel Core i7
ATI Radeon HD 5830
12GB RAM

Then use an older revision. The latest svn is for testing purposes. Beta code if you will.

And what type of crash? Did you get an error message?
