So well, I've been trying to run both PAL and NTSC, the game works, but the fps isn't 30 (100%) all the time.

this is the most demanding spot I've found this far. I'm still trying to get the game to work perfectly, so I've not bothered to play the adventure...
While standing on the bridge (the one to the left on this pic) I have about 27fps facing the island.

These are the settings I'm using
[Image: dm8xno.jpg]
I've tried with Dolphin 2.0, and Dolphin x86 SVN Revision 6075. I notice no fps differences. the EFB scaling just makes the graphics horribly bad, and makes the game run about 3-4 fps lower, same with JITLI.
Lock threads to core and DSPLLE to thread also have a negative influence on the games smoothness.
Screens are taken in Dolphin 2.0, but revision 6075 is the about same (except it crashes everytime I exit)

in the 6075 revision version I have Enable Open CL on and EFC scale on, auto(fractional) and use native mipmaps enabled.

my system specs are:
Q6600 2,4ghz (quad)
ATI HD 4850 (1gb)
4gb corsair ram (but WinXP32, so 3.5 is available)
and a rather fast; HDD WD6400AKS
running on WinXP 32.

I am a bit worried how low the fps would fall in combat or other important situations, since I remeber even the GC having difficulties rendering things in time at some part.

So am I lacking hardware or have I failed somewhere in the settings or am I running the wrong revision?
I remember hamachi had some issues with the newer versions, like daemon tools lite freezing for some, forcing them to use 3.47... is Dolphin suffering from the same issue?

@Sakae

Try "Enable EFB copy" and then select "to texture".

the EFB copy just lowers the FPS and makes distant things really blury.
I just installed win7 64 on a free partition... gonna see if it works better... since atleast what I know win7 should handle more CPU demanding applications.

I'm using an onboard solution with the DX9 graphics plugin (before you point out the fact that I shouldn't be doing that, I don't plan on playing the entire game on Dolphin right now anyway ^^), and there doesn't seem to be much of a problem with the graphics in general, but when the game is looked at from certain (most) angles, I get this weird greenish-tinged display, with really pixellated graphics:

Is this a known issue?

Edit: It looks like disabling Enable EFB Copy -> To Texture got rid of this issue.

Does any one else have very bad shaking in the first dungeon? It seems to have something to do with the heat haze effect. I am using r6066 I think. I have tried the different settings but nothing seems to fix it. Any help?

Completely normal. It's a well known problem that hasn't been fixed yet. The only way you MIGHT be able to fix it is by using the TP Bloom hack in the opengl plugin with efb to ram or efb to texture. This will only work in some revisions though.

I used to have that cpu it ran everything super fast. There are a couple of options that will improve your fps by a lot .

EFB copy to Texture and make sure the the video card is not forcing analizing on the emulator bc thats what kills fps the most.
