[sarcasm] I love how so many people continue to ask me to solve their problems without telling me their revision, settings, or hardware [/sarcasm]

Especially when they've seen me ask others at least 20 times. How do people expect us to solve their problems without any info? By the way this comment is not directed at any of the people who have already given me their info such as Emmett for example. But I am getting really tired of asking. I might just stop answering people soon instead of asking them to provide info. over and over.

Well, I've played with the settings and I pointed out that I don't have any other issues, I was simply asking if anyone knew whether there were inherent limitations in the program,
thanks for the help though[/sarcasm](haha see what I did there?)
But here you go, though none of it is relevant information (I provided all that in my previous post, though you just assumed I was an idiot) because like I've said I've played around with it all.

I wasn't referring to you in that post since you did not list a problem but instead asked a question. Notice I answered your question first. MunchEx was the last person to do it. Basically my post was as follows:

1. Answered your question

2. Ranted about the people not posting their info

3. Tried to solve the problems of those who DID post their info.

Sorry for any unintended confusion and/or disrespect if you thought it was directed at you. I don't actually need your info since I already answered the question. As long as you have a Core 2 or higher cpu with at least an upper range 2GHz clock rate (2.5-3.0) and a good video card you will be fine.

Lo Siento (that means I'm sorry) in that case, I appreciate the clarification and would also like to apologize for the intentional snarkiness that I thought was a little called for. Hopefully that will be behind us now,
Thank you for the answer, I now see that you did just directly answer my question, I thought it was a lead in for that sarcastic bit. Oh well then, I supposed I'll wait it out, and just deal with Pikmin and the like for now. Tongue

Just keep in mind that wind waker needs an enormous amount of gpu throughput. Make sure you have a damn good gpu in that new computer.

Lol, yeah that ought to do it. What's your screen resolution and what level of AA do you plan on using?

Bug
Add yet another vote for the Wind Waker "Audio Sync" issue during the cutscenes.

It's been raised three times already: the audio speeds off, leaving the video behind, and then loops when it runs out of buffer.

The latest analysis (July 19) was "Status: Bug; Workaround: None".

Any idea if it's being fixed in an upcoming release? Big Grin

As an aside, props to the Dolphin team for making a great emulator. Once you've got QuickSave/QuickLoad on a decent emulator, you never go back.

No. Stop bringing it up. The developers all know about it but they still can't figure out what is causing it or how to fix it. Telling them to fix it over and over again won't bring a solution, all it does is annoy them.

My res is 1920x1200 and I dunno, I suppose as high as will run, though I almost definitely won't run the game fullscreen anyway

With due respect, sir, developers prioritize bug fixes according to user feedback.

As these forums are the only 'voting' system we have, you'll forgive us proles for letting the developers know which bugs are affecting us.

If you are one of the developers, I'm sorry for annoying you. If not, I suggest you exercise more tact when speaking on their behalf.

Regards,

Virgil
