I am sorry if this has already been discussed before, but I do not want to read 80+ pages. Wind Waker is running well for me, but the only problem is the cutscenes. The video always lags behind the sound, so the sound skips ahead, making it off sync to the video. And after the cutscene's sound ends, it loops the last sound over and over again while the video still plays and finishes. Does anybody know a way to fix this?

I think that the noob here(me) can answer this one.

The sound issues have no fix, at least until now.And for what i know it is normal with most of the people.
I ain`t sure, but I think in the youtube I saw the cutscenes runs with no sound bug, maybe another revision can do the job...

Any chance you can suggest a recent build that works with widescreen hack? I much prefer it that way, even though it seemed that the characters and other objects only render when they are withing the 5:4 viewing area still, if i remember right.

You can't. It hasn't been fixed yet.

@deead
I'm assuming you have AA off. If not turn it off. Change CPU-EFB to off. Try turning down your resolution to 640 x 480 and tell me if that helps. I have a feeling that your gpu isn't powerful enough to handle rendering that particular area at the resolution. If your framerate shoots up to 30 fps then you either need to lower your resolution or buy a better video card. If it doesn't work tell me and I'll give you some more suggestions.

I need help guys, I can't start a game because after the cutscene about the legend and things it'll hang in a black screen with the music in loop. How can I skip this or fix?

Thanks in advance

I had the same problem, switch to OpenGL Plugin and disable Audio Throttling, that helped for me. When youre Ingame, save and Switch back to DX9.

It is a good gpu. For most games it is just fine. But wind waker needs a lot more fillrate and video memory bandwidth than most games (several times as much). In fact it needs more than twice as much as twilight princess which in turn needs twice as much as most high end metroid games.
