I would actually recommend the opposite for this particular game. Try revision 5016.

Sorry for newb question, but where are the older versions? Only 2.0 is listed on the download page.

True but it still needs to be fixed.

Sorry for my noob question but...

Which is the problem with the sound?

Ok, I found it on google

All the settings options are different from the ones listed on the wiki. What settings should I go with b/c so far it's made things worse.

During cutscenes sound either plays to fast or doesn't play at all. Their are probably other sound issues as well but that's the most noticeable one.

Just use the settings on the wiki: http://www.dolphin-emu.org/wiki/index.php?title=Wind_Waker

Hi NaturalViolence, i have a question for you or fr anything want to answer me but you seem to be the most active and experienced in this discussion so...

I use Zelda Wind Waker PAL with a good computer.

Maybe my question is banal but i tried the revision 4431 and i noticed that the sound in the intro

and also the one in the introduction (like in the others cutscenes i suppose) is perfect.

Since which revision the sound messed up and why it happened? I could play with this revision (4431) but i think that in the more recent revision many bugs have been fixed and the game is now almost perfect. Isn't it right?

I hope you can solve my doubts thanks!

If I had to guess it probably happened somewhere around 47xx-49xx. This game seems to go through cycles of getting better and worse every couple hundred revisions. The most recent revisions of dolphin only have a few minor issues left with this game, it's very close to perfect emulation. But I don't think the audio will be fixed until they properly implement jit lle. Does that answer your question?

Oh yeah, thanks for the informations!

I waited long long time since the first revision to play this game so i prefer wait until that date.

I know that this is a stupid question but do you think that for this fix we'll wait long time?

I assume your talking about the audio issues. This is just an opinion but unfortunately...yes. I believe it's going to be at least another 6 months before we get proper jit lle (and on a separate thread without synchronizing issues). The developers have kind of hit a wall with the audio plugins, so they stopped working on it and switched over to other things. Which I am fine with since we certainly have loads of other issues that need fixing and audio is very good in most games. When we reach the point where we have very little issues with the core, compiler, or graphics plugins they will probably start working on audio again. The thing is since it's opensource we can't really tell them what to do, they just work on whatever they want to work on and right now that isn't audio. If this was a commercial application that we were paying for then we could say "fix the audio!" and they would have to work on it, but the lack of direction in opensource development is a small price to pay for all of the benefits you get.
