@NaturalViolence : I've tried the wiki settings, with DX and all the stuff, but EFB to RAM causes a "huge" bluriness even at short distance and EFB to texture causes a huge aliasing, so to get rid of these problems I disabled EFB copy in OGL ( I didn't know it would do that, I was just trying different settings). When I've both 2x and Native unchecked in OGL, the game still seems to run as if Native was on (stretching 640*480 to 1280*1024... ugly). Auto aspect doesn't seem to work (at least in the OGL plugin) too : even though i set a 16:9 rez, I get a "letterbox", so I've got to use "stretch to window" or "force 16:9" to have something different than 4:3.
In fact I play with OGL because I couldn't get a fine image quality with DX (bluriness or aliasing...), but I'll try the different rez settings in DX tomorrow.
In the case that you'd know a way to get rid of the bluriness AND of the aliasing in DX, I'd be very grateful if you could tell it to me. Thanks for your help.

I do but it will give you a world of problems throughout the game. Using the bleach vs. crusade hack will allow you to use an efb without a loss in image quality. It will also screw up any effect that relies on the efb though.

And I take it this problem persists with both builds?

yeah, problem with both builds. Tried to tinker a few settings, no luck. Used someone elses save, and it works but is way far ahead than I am. Anyone? I'm only like 15 minutes into the game. I'll even take a dave state if possible.

All I can say is try every possible combination of settings you can think of. I have never had to say this before on these forums but....I can't figure out what's causing your problem.

Do you know if my EFB trouble is a common issue ?
Would SVN help me ? Or do you think it will be fixed in future builds ?

Depends on which problem your referring to. Distant areas being blurry or having aliasing is completely normal and will not be fixed because it is not a "problem", that is the way the game is supposed to look at higher resolutions, the goal here is to make the games run as they are supposed to not make them look better. As for the stretching issue, I have only seen that before with people who use widescreen hack, then again everyone uses directx now and days and I can almost guarantee that the issue stems from your settings in opengl. And no it will not be fixed because I doubt their is a real problem to begin with since no one else is encountering this problem.

The problem is that distant areas get blurry when EFB to RAM is enabled and get ultra-aliased when scaled EFB copy and EFB to texture are enabled, even when the game is running in its native resolution (640*480)...
I'm gonna try out some other settings in DirectX . I don't use widescreen hack as it causes more trouble than simply setting a 16:9 rez with no particular hack. Yeah it's stretched but it's still way better than on my GC and its poor 640*480 & composite cable. Thanks again for your answers.

Does anyone have a small list of recommended settings/build for Zelda WW? (instead of reading countless pages looking for the right one)

Look at the wiki... But I'm the proof that recommended settings don't plenty work on some configs.
