Hail friends,
I have some trouble running this game : in fact, the game itself works quite good (I'm around 30 FPS at every time), but the sound gets weird during the "in-game videos" (like the intro) : it "skips" as if I was listening to an old, damaged music CD, so the soundtrack ends before the video does, causing a crappy "sound repetition" until the end of the video.
I've tried many different settings, but I'm still having this problem at every time.
So is it possible to avoid this issue ?
Thank you and sorry for my approximative english (I'm french).

My PC :
Seven home premium 64 bits (legal copy Big Grin )
AMD Phenom II X3 720 BE (2,8 GHz)
4 Go DDR2 PC6400 4-4-4-12
ATi Radeon HD4890 (latest drivers)
I'm running Dolphin 2.0.

No, it hasn't been fixed yet.

OK, thanks for the answer.
I suppose this is caused by the difficult sound emulation on this game.

I used to think it was caused by AFC looping but apparently not since they fixed that, I would need a dev to know what the problem is.

At some point, they recently added some new functionality to Z:WW that more closely emulates the way it looked on the GC, the blurring of textures in the distance. But what I loved about playing Z:WW was that that feature wasn't there for a long time, and the game just looked SO much nicer and crisper. Can anyone tell me what "feature" it is that causes that? Is there a way to turn it off?

If the worst thing is the sound/vid problem during cutscenes and the rest is perfect, consider yourself lucky Smile

Use scaled efb copy and efb copy to texture to get rid of the "bluriness". This will also cause some problems though, such as the pictobox not working.

Found the explanation.

Quote:For sound, the GC has a DSP, which is a small signal processor, and code running on it is called microcode. Most games use the "AX" microcode, which is fairly well understood and we can thus emulate it.

Zelda, Mario, Pikmin and a few others use a completely different microcode. To be able to run this, we need to complete the real low level emulation of the DSP. This is very hard since there isn't any 100% reliable documentation.
