There should be 2 .inis that start with "gfx"
gfx_dx9.ini = DX9 plugin
gfx_opengl.ini = openGL plugin

Open the .ini of the plugin you use for dolphin and scroll to the bottom
You should see "ProjectionHack = 0"
Change the value to "3" (ProjectionHack = 3)

Sweet. Thanks Obliviousfan! Hopefully that will eventually just be a option you can select in the GUI.

Does that work on Mario Sunshine too? I am trying to think of what other games used that, damn I hate the effect personally.

Didn't notice that...it will work the same way you just couldn't select the hack under graphic plugin options IF your using the directX plugin, but if you do what he said it will also work as its the same thing, thanks for letting us know (for those who didn't know... like me Tongue)

Does not seem to work in Mario Sunshine. I'd love to get rid of that effect in Mario Sunshine as well.

I'm having some problems with the FPS in the Wind Waker that make it unplayable.

First off, the FPS will start out around the 25-30 area, and then about 30 seconds of play will send it shooting down to 10-15. Sometimes it will go back up for a few seconds and then drop down. The FPS isn't stable at all; and I can't play like that. It becomes incredibly slow.

My system specifications are:

Intel Centrino Core 2 Duo 2.13 GHz
Nvidia 9800M GS
4 GB RAM
Windows Vista

I'm using revision 4684, by the way. I've tried all of the graphical plugins and fiddled around with settings as well; I just can't get it to play smoothly. Can anyone help me?

I might be wrong but I think your processor is too slow for this game. I have Core i7 @ 3.33ghz and while the game runs at steady 30fps most of the time, there are moments when the fps drops to about 25fps (this game was designed to run at 30fps).

I was hoping I could mess with the Dolphin settings, and maybe get a solid 30, but I guess not. Well, I guess I'll go pick up a copy of the game.

Hello everyone,

I recently have got into the dolphin emulator. I'm trying to play Zelda WW at a decent speed. I've gone threw the forums to find ways to speed it up and used different ver. of the emulator. The game runs at full speed anytime i get into house or small areas. The problem i have is in large areas like the main island when you first start off it runs at 20-25Fps 60 being full speed.

Here are my spec. I know you need a decent CPU so i just want to know if my computer is not up to par or should i try some different sittings.

Windows XP Media Center Edition Service Pack 3
All drivers update.
GT5012
Intel Pentium D 2.80GHz
2.00GB of Ram
GeForce 7900GS 512MB

Thank You for any help.
