Getting speed problems...
Rev 3661 not working for me at all... Confused

I'm using 3932 and get nice sounds both Zelda, but I still getting 30 FTPs in Wind Waker and less in Twilight Princess.
I'm using max settings for AF and AA... Should I turn off those features and turn on biliniar/triliniar filtering? Dodgy

My computer:

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0 GHz
4GB RAM DDR2 - 800 MHz
Asus 8800GT 512MB
Seagate Barracuda 1 TB
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 32bits

Why don't you just try? And maybe. In some games it makes no difference (Paper Mario TTYD), but others (SMG) get huge speeddecreases (20-50% when turning on AA/AF. Just try it out, thats not that hard.

But you should really get more FPS. You have nearly the same CPU as me (I only overclocked my E8400 to 3,7 Ghz), and I can play WW in Fullspeed (nearly always, at some parts where it is really strange i got slowdowns in 392X...

My rec is to turn on dual core, turn AF/AA down to lowest, and use native resolution. The gfx difference really isn't that significant, and you'll get consistent 60fps and no crashes.

What about random black screens?

Okay, so when the black screens happen, I can see my minimap and the button mapping in the top right. And when I use my grapping hook, the black screen goes away. Does anyone know wtf this crap is?

I finally solve the problems... Big Grin

I put the resolution up to 1280 x 1024, wich is my display resolution instead of native (640 x 480), turn off both AA and AF, and i got really nice and clear grapichs, and the most important thing Wink speed grow up! The sound are really nice as well! Angel

I hope Dolphin Team can find a fix for Zelda Twilight Princess to improve speed in areas like Hyrule's Field Confused i really love this game and i would like to play it at full speed.

Sorry, my English is awful, i know, but i speak Spanish AngelBig GrinTongue

Yep, native resolution looks crap... and AA as well as AF slows down the speed in some (most?) games...

and even if it is the wrong topic: if you want to get more speed in hyrule field, disable EFB-Copy (but if you don't want a quarter of the screen be covered by a large black box turn on Bleach vs Crusade - Hack and minimize the minimap...)

if you use, one of the last version of Dolphin, maybe you can avoid the black screens, personally I use rev 3938 and works fine for me Cool

I'm using 3914, can't seem to find any later rev's. My latest source recently went down and can't find another one.

Anyone have a resolution to the black screen problem via gfx changes?

Really surprised at the speed of this game as of the latest version. Haven't really tried it much in the latest revisions, but I played it last night and it was real good. A couple slow-downs here and there and I noticed that the cutscene's sounds would play ahead of the video, but other than that, the sounds are good, the game is most definitely playable... Buuut then it hung right at the "You got the wind waker!" screen :-( Gotta start over now from right before getting the spoils bag, doh! I'll just have to remember to do a save state before hand and try to get past with disabling dual core or something. But other than that, it is nearly 30fps everywhere, which for the Zelda's, they are supposed to run at 30 fps. Only a few places where it dropped to about 15-18. but still even at that it's very playable.
