Indeed, they can be very helpful in certain situations. You need not avoid them completely, just don't use them to record your game progress. Leave that task to in-game saves. Try to use save states only for things like tackling a specific, difficult part of the game (e.g. a place where you keep dying, falling, wasting time), boss battles, minigames (the gambling ones are the best for this Wink) etc. Usually, when I make a save state, I do so knowing I'm probably going to load it in the next minute or so. In short, limit save states to temporary actions and such, use in-game saves for actually saving the game.

Would I able to run This game Smoothly ?
And what about Wii games like Super Mario Galaxy 1/2 or Zelda Skyward Sword. Will that games run also good with that rig ?

I've come across an annoying issue at the very end of Dragon Roost Cavern. At first, I had a crash problem that occurred upon bottling a fairy and getting to the second part of the dialog, but I found that was due to HLE audio. When changing that I managed to bottle a fairy successfully, but then found that opening the boss door resulting in a crash. The first time I experienced the crash it was on a gray screen, so I thought I would try the fix item hang. Sadly, this not only gave me audio issues, but also failed to work, as when going through the boss door again it would actually load the next screen, but only for half a second, not even long enough for the fade in to complete, and then crash.

I am not using save states.

I have attached screenshots of my settings, and my specs should be on my profile. (or signature if it ever updates...)

Thanks!

Imo, I would uncheck Cache Displays Lists. In my experience, it often causes crashes without offering any noticeable improvements in speed. Also, if you're using cheats for this game, try turning them off.

Yep, Cache Display Lists can cause crashes. When I enable this option in Metroid Prime 3, sometimes, the game will crash. Witout that option enabled, the game runs fine (anyway, there are random crahses though, but less)
